They touch on the very normal desire to escape, block, numb, run away, avoid, and self medicate. While some of our ways of dealing with stress may be helpful, others may not – mindfulness allows us to be more conscious of our choices. Barbara specifically touches on the subject of resourcing, highlighting that some people, with guidance from a healthcare professional, may need prescription medication to manage issues arising the coronavirus situation.
